LAU Libraries have grown alongside the university since its founding, evolving into a network of academic libraries that support teaching, learning, and research across Beirut and Byblos. From early reading rooms to today’s digital-first collections, our history reflects a continued commitment to LAU’s academic mission.

The Riyad Nassar Library on the Beirut Campus was founded in 1934, the Joseph G. Jabbra Library on the Byblos Campus was founded in 1987, and the Health Sciences Library was founded in 2013. While located on separate campuses, the libraries complement one another in a close-knit manner of cooperation and coordination.
