To print using a library computer, simply log in with your LAU credentials and send your document to the printer.

Printing and Photocopying Credits:

Each eligible LAU Libraries user is allocated an amount of printing and photocopying credits per semester, as outlined in the table below.

Once the allocated credits are used, additional credits may be purchased using the Credit Request Form. Users can also check their current printing and photocopying balance from any digital device at any time. Faculty and Staff may print free of charge.

Scanning:

LAU Libraries provide free self-service scanning facilities for library users. Documents can be scanned in various file formats and saved to a USB drive or sent via email.

Users’ Responsibilities

The Lebanese American University Libraries abide by the “Fair Use” provisions of the Copyright Law of the United States (Title 17). If a user makes a photocopy or reproduction for purposes in excess of “fair use”, he or she may be liable for copyright infringement. The institution reserves the right to refuse a copying order if, in its judgment, fulfillment of the order would involve violation of copyright law.
