Thank you for your interest in supporting the Lebanese American University’s Libraries!

To donate library materials, please use the Donation Form for Library Materials by submitting it through our website, via email, or by letter. Acceptance of the donation conditions outlined below is required.

Kindly refrain from delivering any items to the library before submitting your offer.

Conditions of acceptance

• The Library typically doesn’t maintain separate named collections without prior consent from the Director of Collection Management.
• Once accepted, donations become the property of LAU’s Libraries and cannot be reclaimed.
• Donated materials will be integrated into the general collection and shelved based on appropriate subject classifications, unless identified as Special Collections materials.
• Materials not selected for our collection may be disposed of at the library’s discretion. Options include transfer to another institution, donation to students, or charitable contribution.
• Please note, the library does not cover the costs of transport, freight, or delivery without prior approval.

N.B. General donations that have limitations or restrictions on their use or disposal cannot be accepted.
